The walled Umbrian town of Città della Pieve is a truly special place, with a lively buzz of activity and a warm community spirit. Located in one of the centro storico’s prettiest streets, contemporary-chic Pieve Suites is the perfect spot from which to explore the town and its environs, from Orvieto to Perugia to Siena.

The ground-floor Garden Suite is a comfortable space, with a generous sleeping/living area, a small but well appointed bathroom and a kitchenette. What makes it truly special is its leafy private garden, built into the 14th-century town walls.

Luminous but intimate, in shades of teal and peacock green, the Mid Suite has splendid views over the Umbrian countryside. This suite has our largest bathroom, with a rainhead shower, as well as a kitchenette.

From both its mezzanine bedroom and its lower living area with bathroom and kitchenette, our Top Suite enjoys sweeping views to Monte Arale and the verdant hills of southern Umbria.

Accessed from a narrow flower-filled street in Città della Pieve’s gorgeous medieval centro storico, our three suites look out over 14th-century town walls to the verdant rolling countryside of southern Umbria. Each spacious suite has a bathroom with shower, air conditioning/heating, and a kitchenette for preparing hot beverages and simple meals from superb local ingredients. Pieve Suites is located right at the heart of Città della Pieve’s charming historic centre, with all the town’s sights and amenities within easy walking distance. But it’s also wonderfully quiet and secluded, with country views.

Three cosy suites. One stylish townhouse

Taken singly, each of our chic studios is perfect for a couple. But Pieve Suites can also be rented as a whole property for larger groups or families (up to six guests; children over the age of 12 only), providing a great mix of in-room privacy and whole-house autonomy.
